Knot, Not In Our Love

Part of me wishes you well
The other part
Wishes you to go to hell

And here we are
Once again
All tied up in how far
We are from each other
Though we stand
Hand in hand

Cannot even feel
The wedding band

Knot in our love
Is love we have a lot of
But cannot
Get it to flow
Through the knot
Pottie poop in a pot

Grass is always greener
On the other side
Because no one
Has ever lived and died
Over there

A story tale
To Compare

Shallow as we can go
And we only live once
Not in a bunch of anything
To show
Knot in our love

You untie me
And I untie you
The knot is as gone
As our love is so true

Knot, not in our love…

PEACE by PEACE

Let no other
Get in the way
Of our peace
With our
God
And
Let no God
Get in the way
Of our peace
With one
Another

Peace

MY CAVE OF WORDS
So small my words
Bounce upon my walls
Upon my cave
So brave
...They are
Such little words
To say so much
Without a touch
Of condescending
Such little words
Pretending
To be something
More

What the shore
Washes upon itself
Repels everything else

And I stand
With you
Knowing all
About each other

We look into each other eyes
The disguise the years grew
Blew away with the wind

I mend my soul
Once again

So small my words…to you

Saw you once in a dream

It lasted forever
And then never did I see you
Again

...When will I be with you
Again

The mirror was misty
Foggy at times
The blinds were pulled
Emptiness was filled

The room I spent time
Was meant for unwinding
Dining with myself

I fastened tight to my bed
My head hit the pillow
I was gone
The song sung
Was long gone with the sheep
That was counted
By little bo beep

Deep in sleep I searched for you

Saw you once in a dream
It lasted forever

And then never did I see you
Again

You were long gone
We were so right
Until we were so wrong

Saw you in a dream

WE STICK AROUND
I meet with myself every Friday night
Caught between delight and fright
...
Naked, standing, I deliver
And shiver all the same time

Unwind my fears, collect my tears

And play, like a record
Round and round

No music, no sound

But we hold each other
We stutter
Every time we hear loss of hope

But we cope, move on
We sing that song
No music, no sound

We stick around

I meet with myself every Friday night
Feeling right is always a feeling away
Caught between delight and fright

THIS IS MY VIEW
So thick this plastic
Is to protect me
On my side
...So safe inside

While you
Outside, cry
Become shattered
Battered, black and blue

This is my view
From where I am
Damn channel
Won’t change
Away from you
And all your pain

I reach out my hand
I try to understand
Your side of the world
But quickly pull it in
Afraid it may be cut off
I see a coffin sailing by
I dare not cry
Till the movie ends
It's all pretend

So thick this plastic
Is to protect me
On my side
So safe inside…

Mr. CANCER
We die anyway
Along the way
And so
...What are you trying to say?
It’s too long
FOR YOU to wait

I hate you
Impatient bastard

What’s in it for you?
To take even the new
Sometimes without a clue
You just take
No remorse, no mistake
You just break
Us all apart

Tears in a cart
To push around
From a broken heart
Laying half beaten
Upon the ground
And
You cannot wait
A hundred years or so

What is your rush
To hush us
Before our time
Our prime

We die anyway
Along the way

We are waiting for an answer?
Mr. Cancer

FROM TIME
From Time
Steal a life

...One you can live with

One you can play with
And have so much fun
One that will keep you
Here
And not turn on you
Or turn you off

From Time
Steal YOUR life
Before time steals
You away from one
Without the fun

A second
Could be your lifetime
If you let it

A bit
Could all it be
With
You so far away
From
Me

From time
Heal your life
Now before
It steals away
Leaving no day
Behind
With no mind

To remember
You or me
From time

The Truth Is Forbidden

(to a great living artist – tim barrus)

When a soul
Unfolds
And the story is told

...And in between read
And misread
After all is said
Not a word gets
Spread around
Not a sound anymore
Is heard
Nothing seen
In between
All the sugar coating

The BOOK has been
Slammed shut
In his FACE
Leaving not a trace
Deleted but not defeated

The truth is hidden
So reality is forbidden
Drifted far from humanity
When blessed with insanity

(Politics)
A fool for a king
Is such a common thing
And doing so well
Under the written spell
But when the spell is broken
Not a word is spoken
Except by the king in disguise
Pleading that he is so wise
And all the suckers sympathize

When a soul unfolds
And the story is told
Be brave, be bold and LISTEN to him
To Tim,

To a great artist...  may he NOT rest in peace...

The Earth, Ours
We are here
Where we are
With a star called the Sun
...Shining on you and I

We would be fried by now
If someone didn’t know
How to place this star
Far enough just right
To give us day
And not all night

We did invent LIGHT
To guide us through
Shining on me and you

We are here
Make no mistake
Where we came from
Is not from some dumb thing

Bring it on
While we live along
This beautiful path
It’s all math
It all adds up
A new born pup

We are here
Where we are

Found a Tear
Found a tear
Over there just hanging around
Not a sound
...No cry at all
Standing tall

Clinging to the eye
It would not fall
Or call out
Or shout for help

Found a tear
And found you
You two belong
To each other

Never knew
How blue you were
Because of her

A broken heart
A broken friend
As silent
As the end

Found a Tear
